Checking in…

Sorry I’ve been very bad at updating recently, I’ve had my as levels and then I’ve been catching up on and sleep and seeing friends etc.

I have some very exciting things to share within the next few weeks though. Last night I went to the Kingston graduate show which I was really impressed by, the standard was incredible and it was very professionally put together (in a way it made me a bit sad though, considering so many talented people were presenting their work yet only a couple will become ‘successful’). I managed to get tickets because I modelled for one of the designer’s look-books, so I’ll post those pictures when I get my hands on them. I also took some pictures at the show, I’m not 100% sure if they’ll come out that well because I used my fisheye camera but I’m sure they’ll still look cool regardless of whether they show the clothes well.

I’m waiting for some other pictures from another photographer which I will post soon.

On thursday I’m going to a very big charity event which I got an incredible dress for so I will post some pictures from that as well!

I’m thinking of doing some beauty reviews, so please let me know if anyone will be interested in that?!?

Here’s one of the photo’s taken on my fisheye camera, it was only £35 and I think the pictures came out really cool

Shooting!

I’ve done two shoots this holiday and I’m really excited to show you the pictures!

The first was in this old manor house just outside of London and theme was a sort of like a posh girl returning home after hunting/riding. I saw some of the pics on the camera and they looked really cool!

The second was today and it was shot in a studio for a stylist, it was really high fashion/editorial with lots of fab head dresses and masks make out of nails and chains.

Really excited to get the pictures back!

Jean Paul Gaultier used a mix of harsh monochrome colours and soft and floaty frills. What I think is great, is how Gaultier doesn’t fall in to the trap of whereby using stark black and whites the look created is ‘hard’ instead he has created this almost ultra-feminine look which I think is incredible.

Just watched the documentary by Sara Ziff, I think anyone interested in modelling whether as a career or their just interested in the industry should watch it.

Definitely changed my viewpoint which I didn’t expect at all.

Valentino again uses soft pink tones, which I really really love, they’re almost nude, which I guess is quite an unforgiving shade but with certain skin tones it just looks beautiful. Isn’t that lacey number amazing? Wearing these clothes must feel so luxurious.
